Privacy & data retention
AMDA Academy processes personal data under the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019). We collect only what we need, when we need it. At signup you provide your phone number, preferred name, legal name, and branch. National ID, blood group, county, town, and a passport-style photo are collected later — when you are ready for road practice and your Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) on eCitizen. Photos are for AMDA instructor identity checks at practical sessions, not automated biometric matching. Credentials and photos are stored securely in Supabase with row-level security. Access is limited to you, branch admins, and super admins for compliance purposes.
AMDA does not submit PDL applications, book NTSA tests, or issue government licences on your behalf. We train you, track your progress, and link you to eCitizen at the right moments with reminders on WhatsApp.
When you sign in, we record your IP address and browser user agent in our authentication audit log for security and fraud prevention. These records are retained for up to twelve months and are readable by super administrators only. Session cookies set by Supabase Auth are strictly necessary for login and are exempt from marketing cookie consent.
Read our Terms of Service.
To request deletion of your account data, contact your branch or email privacy@advancedmobility.co.ke.
